Introduction to Digital Photography for Teens at The Light Factory

For one week in August, 6 Light Factory Teens explored Charlotte with their digital cameras. The students learned the basics of navigating digital photography as well as navigating the Queen city; we traveled through Uptown and took the Lightrail into South End. Images were uploaded into Photoshop or Photoshop Elements and edited to build a comprehensive portfolio. Students also had the opportunity to scan special photographs that they felt compelled to enhance or alter digitally. Below are their keen observations and bold account of their world.
